Description
The Department of Clinical Genomics at Mayo Clinic is seeking full-time Clinical Geneticists to join our teams in Rochester, Minnesota; Phoenix, Arizona; and Jacksonville, Florida. These positions offer exceptional opportunities to advance genomic medicine through a balanced academic and clinical career, with potential for future leadership roles.
As a Clinical Geneticist at Mayo Clinic, you will:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including gastroenterologists, neurologists, endocrinologists, surgeons, and others across Mayo’s national network.
- Contribute to Mayo’s distinguished programs in cancer, transplantation, neurosciences, heart disease, and digestive diseases.
- Engage in academic activities with an appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, commensurate with experience.
- Participate in and help shape the future of genomic medicine, including integration with the Center for Individualized Medicine and other leading research and clinical departments.

- Rochester, MN: Home to Mayo’s flagship campus and a robust research infrastructure supporting early feasibility and multi-center clinical trials.

- Jacksonville, FL: Rapidly growing with major investments in physical and technological infrastructure to support innovation in care delivery. Our integrated medical practice spans more than 40 specialties and is built on Mayo’s core values of teamwork and collaboration, essential for treating patients with complex conditions.
Requirements
- Board certification or active candidate status with the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG)
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of the position (Minnesota, Arizona, or Florida)
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or another adult-focused medical specialty (preferred)
- MD/ DO or equivalent
